As the journey to my Master's in Innovative Learning is coming to end, I have begun the a new journey of reflection and next steps. This journey has been full of ups and downs. This program has only fueled my passion for create a classroom full of students who are confident in themselves and their abilities while building strong relationships. Installing these life skills in my students at a young age will benefit them for a lifetime.
Just because my Master's journey is coming to an end does not mean my quest to create 21st century learners is ending too. I plan to continue to challenging my students with rigorous content in a way that will keep them engaged in the learning. As the new school year is approaching I want to spend more time find more ways to us Fligrid to give my students more voice in the classroom. I want to incorporate a choose your own adventure for my students to engage in digitally. A program where students will be presented student with a story that has a growth mindset challenge that a character is facing in the story. Students will get to make choices for the character. At the of each choose your adventure we can discuss why they made some of the choices they did for that particular character.
My ultimate goal is to continue to build lifelong relationships with my students. I want each and everyone of my students to leave my classroom knowing they were loved and how much I challenged them.
