21st Century Learning and Workforce ReadinessAs citizens living in the 21st century, many students are encountering newer forms of technology and content every day. These situations often require literacy skills that go beyond what is covered in more traditional English language arts classrooms. Students who are more proficient in the areas of the four Cs may obtain an advantage over students who have not had experience developing their skills in these areas. Fortunately, not only does creating virtual worlds provide students with activities that engage their abilities in critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, but it also does so in a way that many students may find engaging and enjoyable!
