The Transformation of Education will Necessitate Innovation and Dedication
Changing the education paradigm is needed to prepare our students to meet the needs of the 21st century. Increasing student motivation through creativity and engaged instruction will support this shift. Senses are operating at their peak and fully alive when students use creativity to develop original ideas of value. Creativity is used to enhance divergent thinking as opposed to linear thinking. This is rarely done in isolation but when engaged collaboratively in groups consisting of culturally and economically diverse students. The transformation of education is at the "Tipping Point," and through innovation and dedication we can support this positive change. Sir Ken Robinson shows us why we must make this shift.
