I used Google forms to get feedback from the students on how they felt the digital tools help them be more clear

I have students give a quick over of what they have learned, or are going to learn, and how           they are going to show it.

Treat it like a commercial or a movie trailer for the summative or final project.

This gives them the opportunity to articulate if they are clear on the expectations or ask clarifying questions.
It also gives the Students and the teachers an opportunity to answer questions and get students on the right path.

PictureQuizzez
I used Quizzez to get a quick check for clarity on the learning objectives and what is expected on          the summative.  The results give a snapshot of who is clear and who needs some

I give them the quiz multiple times.  Before we start the unit, after we go over the Learning                objectives and the progress chart and throughout the learning process as new content is accessed.

This has been a nice way for students to see growth in their understanding and what they need to follow up on if they are unclear.

Padlet, TodaysMeet, and Poll Everywhere are great for a quick check for clarity and a forum to ask clarifying questions.  Save them (or take screen shots) to post.  Continue to revisit and update as clarifying questions are answered and new ones arise.

Here are 2 lessons I used for digital citizenship since the focus of the research was using digital platforms
Commonsense Media lessons on Digital Footprint

Digital Communication- Identifying reliable websites and sources
