History/Rationale

In the Napa Valley Unified School District, teachers have been hearing a consistent message related to the need to shift our classroom practices to meet the needs of 21st Century Learners.  At the same time, California has adopted the Common Core State Standards which promote College and Career Readiness as the goal for all students.  To address these needs, Napa Valley Unified School District has introduced Project-Based Learning and is on its way to creating a one-to-one computing environment.  Teachers are at the center of all of these changes.
