Above is the final results in each category of Social Emotional Learning focal points. In the upper right corner, you will see the beginning of the pre and post results by week. In the first few few days you can see student beginning SEL levels followed by three consecutive days of daily learning via online platforms, virtual reality, and various other digital platforms. In the middle, students were re-assessed before entering a nature immersed and outdoor environmental setting. This involved a field trip to various wetlands and riparian habitats. Students planted trees, displaced invasive species, nature walks, and enhancing ecosystems. Students studied river water and it's organisms and spent the majority of their days outside. Student SEL levels increased drastically during outdoor immersion studies and then began to even out as we began to incorporate both environments.
