Lessons for Teachers to Use Tomorrow in Their Classrooms

  • Digital Communication lesson plan for 4th-6th graders on using appropriate language on line to stay safe.
  • Flipped lesson plan on digital communication-use this lesson with a flipped classroom approach. The lesson is on communicating safely on line.
  • Flipped lesson made with screencastomatic-using the lesson plan above, this was my first attempt at using screencastomatic to make a flipped lesson for my students. Use mine or give it a try!



  • Digital Passport can be found on the Common Sense Media website, for grades 3-5.  It is a web based game that teaches the different elements of digital citizenship.
  • Digital Citizenship Video is a 9 minute video on how one 6th grade teacher teaches digital citizenship in his classroom using Digital Compass.
  • Lesson plan on introducing blogging to your 4th-6th students-use this lesson plan to get started bloggin in your classroom.  This lesson uses the Kidblog website.
