For some great visuals in teaching Trigonometry, start with these websites, click on the picture to investigate the webpage:
Math is Fun website- the Unit Circle , This website has many resources for teaching math, by subject. There are also games, puzzles, and worksheets. For all grade levels.
Cool math has explanations for topics from Pre Algebra through Pre Calculus, games are also included.
This is a link to a Wikipedia page, and Lucas VB has created some wonderful physics videos. This one is a dynamic view of the generation of Sine and Cosine waves around the Unit Circle. We can graph distinct values and see that the function repeats values, making it a periodic function but this really makes that point visually.
Another favorite website for engaging activites is Desmos.com, and the activities are for many levels of math and very visual. Below are two that I used during the Trigonometry unit, found by searching Trigonometry in the search bar on the home page. Desmos offers free bundles, activities and games that are engaging and relevant to math topics. Because they are based on the graphing view of functions, it is offers another way to learn without the tedious by-hand work. A big shout out to fellow Cohort 10 member, Joe Madigan, for the suggestion of using bundles on this site. Thank you Joe!

Here are 2 of my favorite tools to create videos. I will use these in the classroom more often, now that I am comfortable with how they work. And none of this is possible without my very favorite screen shot tools!
