Rubrics and Other Measures for Assessing

At this moment, I do not have an assessment piece embedded to students' digital journals.  One of the reasons why I chose not to have assessements was due to the fact that their writing was informal, and more like a accountability for reading during the silent reading period.  However, I do plan to use a writing rubric as well as a collaborative one in the future. Below are some rubrics that are used throughout my district to assess 21 century skills.  I chose communication and collaboration because these two are used throught out the process of using digital journals.
