The research, resources, and lessons used in the project were based on the idea that students need to be in the “driver's seat” when it pertains to their education. The goal of this study was to understand what possible effect that may have on a student’s sense of agency and their depth of content knowledge. These factors were chosen due to the foundational role they play in fostering engaging classrooms that develop 21st century skills and create lifelong learners.
