Rubrics for Assessing Play To Learn

Rubrics are an integral part of education. They clearly communicate expectations to students, and help identify measures of success. Using rubrics to assess different skills makes expectations clear to parents, teachers, and students. Rubrics can also be used in game based learning. Introducing game based learning rubrics into classrooms can help students take ownership of their responsibilities as a learner, and help teachers set clear expectations. Below you will find different rubrics relating to 21st century skills, critical thinking, and collaboration.
