As a fifth-grade teacher who was looking for additional opportunities to challenge my students. I focused most on my research on English Language Arts although many of the ALIVE resources can also be applied to other subjects. My reason for focusing on ELA is that reading, vocabulary and comprehension are typically the key to all subjects and content so I felt supporting ELA might give students the best opportunities moving forward.
