ISTE National Educational Technology Standards (NETS)
There is a symbiotic relationship between the National Educational Technology Standards and the Arts. Creativity enhances technological presentations. Jerome Kagan, Ph.D., a speaker at the John Hopkins University Summit on "Neuroeducation: Learning, Arts and the Brain," suggests that a greater focus on general art programs in school could have a significant decrease in the dropout rates.
