  • ​​Conduct this research without the COVID-19 restrictions to eliminate the cheating possibilities that may have led to inaccurate results.  
    ​
  • A balance between traditional and real-world problems should be applied on unit assessments.  The goal is to give students what they need to be successful while maintaining a positive attitude around applying real-world problems to math.

  • ​Time permitting, give a pre-final in August and a post-final in June.  Code each problem by traditional and real-world problems.  Then the average scores of all traditional and real-world problems could be analyzed.  

  • A Depth of Knowledge (DOK) assignment of creating your own real-world math problem can also be replaced with problems from Robert Kaplinsky ​for DOK levels 1-3 instead of using all 4 DOK levels.
