Let's Dive In!

The model of attending lecture, memorizing information, then sitting a paper exam has existed for centuries. This model requires students to engage in low level thinking through tasks commonly found on tests such as remembering, reciting, and summarizing. This process is not only out of line with the needs of the 21st century, but does not ask students to think deeply through processes such as analyzing, synthesizing, and creating!

A solution that invokes change in the system, and deepens student learning needs to surface! This study will take you through a journey that answers my question about authentic assessment's impact on the depth of student's learning.
