Assessments Related to My ResearchMy research was first thought of how to give feedback on assignments which are informal and formal assessments. This lead to me realizie I wanted students to be able to assess if they have done something correctly. This is why I have moved to having a more visual understanding of step by step success with a performance task followed by an assessment as a learning strategy.
Using Khan Academy for AssessmentKhan Academy assessments are a great tool to have a quick check-in with students for verifying their understanding. It also has a great deal of data that you can easily make plans with for the next class.
The google forms below are used for quick and easy responses to assess where students are in a skill. At times these are used for me to get a base understanding of where each student is in their learning. At times these are used to verify that at the end of a non direct instruction unit that it was fully understood.
