Closing the Math Achievement Gap:
Assessments

Picture
I use several forms of assessment in my math classroom.  I use pre-tests and post-tests from the Bridges Curriculum.  I use observations made during small group and independent work.  I also use information provided to me through the programs the students utilize such as Ten Marks Math, FASTT Math, ST Math, Khan Academy, and Kahoot.  To further explore these programs, please click on their logos below.

Students and teachers receive immediate feedback from all online programs. Feedback includes correcting submitted work, acknowledgement of partially correct work, and completion of assignments.  This timely feedback allows students and teachers to make informed decisions regarding future assignments and lessons.
The following images show various forms of assessments that the students and teachers can use to make necessary decisions about next steps for each individual student.
