Closing the Math Achievement Gap:

These relatively new CCSS and Math Practices make achieving at grade level standards even more difficult for English Language Learners, unless, there are consistent support features for these ELL. According to the 2015 Nation’s Report Card (nces.ed.gov), there is still an 18 point achievement gap between White and Hispanic students.
