21st Century Learning, The Music Classroom, and Workforce Readiness

The key elements or outcomes that our students today should be learning are Learning and Innovation Skills - 4Cs (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity), Core Subjects - 3Rs and 21st Century Themes, Life and Career Skills, and lastly, Information, Media, and Technology Skills.  I have conducted some research and as a result, it has been proven that an education in the arts not only teaches students these key elements but in fact prepares students for college and the 21st century workforce.  I invite you to click on the link below to read about the findings I fond in regards to music and 21st century education and preparation.
