Motivate to Read

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis once said, "There are many little ways to enlarge your child's world.  Love of books is the best of all."

We know how joyful reading can be.  Still, each year students troupe into our classrooms who have not yet discovered the pleasure of reading. So, we look to motivate.  E-readers have evolved into tools that can not only motivate students but also inform our teaching.

My intention with Motivate to Read is to share information about some of the e-reader options available and show how they can be used to motivate students.  If you are a K-2 teacher you will find useful information throughout the Motivate to Read website.
