21st Century Learning and Workforce Readiness

Preparing students for a future career must include exposing them to a diverse set of experiences and skills so they can be successful in their adulthood for a job that may not even exists yet.  The markers of an education that incorporates 21st century skills includes learning and developing the four C's (Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking and Creativity) as well as technological skills including transliteracy while learning the core subjects of Math, English, World Languages, Arts, Science, History, Economics and Government.

For my capstone project, I have incorporated innovative technology into my math content by engaging my students to think critically to develop their understanding of the concepts and content while communicating and collaborating with their peers using technology tools to create a recording of their knowledge and comprehension of math.
