Teacher Assessment: What type of 21st century teacher are you? 

If your school does not yet have a formal assessment for ELL students there are many alternatives. TESOL and Reading A-Z websites have all kinds of information and assessments and benchmarks pertaining to ELL students http://www.tesol.org/

​Referring to the Common Core State Standards is also another great resource for assessments and benchmarks for ELL students in regards to language and technology.

The posted videos are informal assessments which show growth from three different children's literacy and confidence development after technology was integrated into the curriculum. The following children arrived to the kindergarten class mid year with no prior English exposure. The effects of blending technology with traditional methods sharpened their skills faster and with significant improvements compared to previous years where technology was not yet integrated. ​
