Digital Citizenship Essential to Implementing a BYOD Program
In order to have a system in place for a BYOD program it is beneficial for the school site to agree on a common language curriculum when it comes to digital citizenship. 

Questions to Consider: 
What does using a device look like in Kindergarten to 8th grade? 
How are teachers using technology in the classroom? 
How are students using technology in the classroom? 
How are both students and teachers using technology in the classroom setting together? 
How to implement procedures and expectations regarding device usage?

This lesson is designed to help students understand digital citizenship without using computers. There are skits and scenarios that help illustrate to students the importance of digital citizenship. 

This lesson is a great discussion starter for students to talk about what their previous experience in the digital world was like and how they can be better digital citizens.
