Design Process for Differentiating Digitally

My capstone audience will be for teachers, academic specialists and administrators. My Driving question: What is the impact of using technology  to increase literacy learning for at risk students?  I will also be using other sources that tie into increasing literacy learning for primary grade students.

My reasons for having teachers/educators as my audience is so they can become more educated in the topic I will present to them. My hope is that this capstone can be helpful and guide them in their practice.  My goal for this audience is to get them feeling more comfortable about using technology in their classrooms to engage and help all students, especially those who are otherwise at risk and giving up.

The content I have on my website to engage and teach my audience are many visuals. Visual examples are important since many people are visual learners. I also know that many are auditory as well. I have videos, graphics, and assessments that are visually presented. I am hoping my audience can walk away with something they learn that is valuable to them and their students.

Differentiating Digitally Design Process

This is my mind map for my capstone project. It was created using Coggle.
It helped me to visually organize my thoughts and put everything together.

I explored logomakr.com. The logo with the children around the world was what I explored first. Although it is nice, I had difficulties with it and actually liked the one with the hands around the computer better. I think it goes better with my topic for my project.
