The Process

There was a lot that I wanted to discover by doing this action research. The main point of this action research was to increase student's performance when it comes to doing push-ups. The way I achieved this was by incorporating video analysis which increased the amount of feedback that students would get. I did not stop there, I also had the students send their video to students in France. The students in France then provided feedback to my students here. This increased the amount of feedback my students received by 3 (themselves, French Peers, and Teacher). This whole process did not just increase their performance and the amount of feedback, but also increased their metacognition. This was all done by the the students breaking down their performance. With the video, they get to see how they did and measure it up against the rubric. They were able to make the changes they thought necessary to improve their performance for next time.
